	The Océ CS9000 series, running Océ Eco-solvent inks, allows you to print without harmful VOCs or solvent odors, yet still have 3-year outdoor durability. Océ began thanks to Dutch chemist Lodewijk van der Grinten's desire to create a coloring agent for butter and margarine in 1871. The 4-color Océ CS9000 series, featuring Océ VariaDot^TM print head technology, reduces ink usage by more than 25% compared to 6-color fixed-dot systems. The Océ company name developed from the brand name of a former diazo process. It was an abbreviation for "Ohne Componente", meaning "without components" in German. Océ has a presence on every continent. It operates in 80 countries and has its own sales companies in some 30 countries.
