Océ Business Services ranked among top outsourcing vendors due to "highest green credentials"
Océ Business Services was ranked by the Black Book of Outsourcing as one of the top 50 outsourcing vendors cited by clients for demonstrating the "highest green credentials." Océ was recognized as a leader in the document process outsourcing category along with Pitney Bowes, Xerox, and Ricoh. This ranking in the "Green 50" is significant because companies participating in the Black Book survey stated that increasingly they are requesting that their outsourcing suppliers incorporate environmentally-sensitive practices into their range of services.
As Black Book of Outsourcing co-author Scott Wilson states: "There?s still a very short list of outsourcing firms who are making the grade as good stewards of the planet with significant implemented ecological commitments and dedication to environmental responsibility." The Black Book survey singled out Océ Business Services as one of the "good stewards" referred to by Wilson.
Océ Business Services is committed to supporting its clients' green requirements. As an example, last year the "Bremer goes Green" campaign was initiated as a joint effort between the Bremer Facilities Group and Océ to reduce paper usage. The campaign involved printer and paper reduction, as well as moving print production to more cost-effective copiers. |
