Products and Services

MBO America sells and services a comprehensive line of paper folding equipment. Offering a full range of machines in different sizes and, configurations to suit the demanding needs of In-Plant, Quick-Print, Mailing Operations, Commercial Printers, Trade Binderies, and Booklet Production Shops.

MBO’s main products include buckle folders available in sizes from 18" wide, to the largest at 65" wide and combination buckle-knife folders available in sizes from 21" wide, to the largest at 40" wide. MBO folders are designed for effortless one-person operation and fast changeover due to ergonomic design as all adjustments are conveniently positioned for the operator. They also include exclusive in-feed and side-guide registration system that produces accurate folding with multiple sets

MBO Perfection Series

MBO America recently introduced the first "Marble-less" folding machine. "PERFECTION" series, which is available in two sizes (26" x 51" and 30" x 51"). The Marble-less design, advanced computerization, and proven technologies such as MBO's patented Spiral fold rollers, and exclusive BELT DRIVE SYSTEM combine to create the world's first, fully functional high speed paper folding system.

Special features of this machine include many patented exclusives such as Dualfeed: this dual paper transfer system provides for smoother gapless paper transfer, with centralized belt and quick change over times. VIVAS: the "Marble-less vacuum infeed and vacuum alignment system insures flat feeding and precise register. Combiplate: These optional plates are "Markless" and always accurate. The combination buckle plates with "Dial Deflectors" always remain in the folder, and make changing sizes from job to job quick and easy. Antistatic Plate: The effects of static are greatly reduced through stainless steel construction and advanced engineering of the lower plate lips. A special mark free, wear resistant ceramic coating is added to the top plate lip for static-less paper flow. High-Speed Guide: Specially developed "Conical Wheels" replace "marbles" in the cross carrier guides. This feature allows for higher performance, with precise register, in all sections of the folder without any fear of marking. MC Control: The Microprocessor controls the feeder functions and monitors the machine for optimum performance, ensuring maximum production efficiency. Rapidset: The computerized, quick make ready system with motorized buckle plates, for the fastest and easiest set-ups ever.

Advanced engineering enables MBO's "PERFECTION" to increase production "at least 20%" in the parallel unit, and even higher results in the 8 page and 16 page units
