Duplo's extensive product
line comprises a selection of innovative and technologically advanced paper
handling equipment including a variety of friction and suction feed collators,
high-speed digital duplicators, folders, inserters, bookletmakers, perfect binders,
cutters, and barcode document readers.
COLLATORS - Duplo
offers a wide variety of friction and suction-feed collators, from tabletop
models to large, multi-tower floor models. For optimal productivity, the powerful
suction-feed DC-10/60 collators are equipped to operate independently, allowing
two jobs to run simultaneously in two different output directions. With an optional
touch-screen PC controller and custom designed Duplo software, the towers are
upgraded to the IMBF (Intelligent Multi-bin Feeder), enabling the operator to
select the bin from which to feed from and the feeding sequence. Which type
of system is best for you depends on your budget, anticipated volume, paper
weight and stock, and the number of sheets in each set.
BOOKLETMAKERS - Designed
to meet the needs of quick-printers, in-plant printers and commercial printers,
as well as on-demand printing environments, Duplo's line of high-speed finishing
accessories combines performance with push-button ease. From the fully automatic
DBM-500 to the economical EZ Book, Duplo's line of finishing accessories maximizes
productivity. The DBM-500's versatility is demonstrated by its ability to accept
both set-by-set of the traditional offset market and sheet-by-sheet pre-collated
output of digital printers.
PERFECT BINDERS -
Duplo has a perfect binder ideal for any application. From high-volume to short
runs, from fully automatic to semi-automatic, Duplo perfect binders feature
the versatility and flexibility required in today's printing environment. All
units feature single-operator ease and dependable, high quality results.
CUTTERS - From high-tech
to low-cost, Duplo's line of quality paper cutters is designed for precise,
dependable operation in any printing environment. Fashioned of heavy-duty materials
and featuring user-friendly, push-button operation, Duplo cutters ensure cutting
accuracy to avoid expensive reprints.
TRIMMERS - Duplo
offers a three-side book trimmer that provides high performance with precise
cutting for trimming perfect bound books - it's ideal for book on-demand applications.
A unique four-side document trimmer developed for color documents, the DC-545HC,
automatically slits, cuts, and creases a document in one pass, making it the
ideal finishing solution for the short-run on-demand market.
FOLDERS - Duplo folders
are designed to quickly and accurately fold finished sheets. Designed for applications
from the professional on-demand printing environment to busy offices, Duplo
folders offer a wide range of folding options. The DF-920 features unique sound
absorbers, which dramatically reduce the amount of sound produced while folding.
FOLDER/INSERTERS
- Duplo folder/inserters take the labor out of labor-intensive mailings. Features
include various fold types, multiple-sheet and insert ability, and processing
speeds up to 2,000 pieces per hour.
BURSTERS/DECOLLATORS
- Duplo bursters and decollators are designed to reduce the cumbersome hand
work traditionally required with these types of jobs. By performing bursting
and decollating jobs quickly and efficiently, Duplo equipment saves time, money,
and manpower.
IN-LINE STITCHER/FOLDER/TRIMMER
- Duplo's DBM Series stitcher/folder/trimmer is the ideal system for high-quality,
inline bookletmaking. The Duplo equipment works in-line to create a complete
printing and bookletmaking system that is perfect for a wide range of on-demand
applications in the financial, publishing, education and commercial print industries.
Reports, brochures, manuals, policy documents and more can be quickly printed
and finished in one streamlined operation. This innovative system offers the
ability to create up to 3,600 sets per hour. (Depending on connected devices.)
NEAR-LINE SOLUTIONS
- Duplo's DSF-2000 Document Sheet Feeder is a solution that combines the advantages
of both in-line and off-line finishing solutions. The DSF-2000 System accurately
feeds sets containing a variable number of sheets per set via two methods- OMR
(optical mark recognition) system or optional barcode readers. When working
with non-variable sets, the amount of sheets per set and sets per stack is simply
inputted into the control panel and the machine will automatically feed the
sheets and insert a cover after each set.
BARCODE DOCUMENT READERS
- As barcode has rapidly become the preferred method of retrieving and manipulating
certain information, speed of retrieval has become increasingly important. With
a Duplo barcode document scanner, information can be processed 10 times faster
than when scanning by hand. All Duplo barcode scanners read the most popular
barcode symbologies.
