DocuVision is a powerful and flexible camera-based inspection system designed for high-speed print verification, machine control and data collection. Using up to 8 cameras, DocuVision guarantees document integrity by inspecting critical elements to ensure both accurate and high quality printing. At the same time, audit trail data is transmitted by DocuVision to provide for the security assurance of the document creation process. DocuVision is the basis for solutions for diverse printing & mail automation applications including Reading and Matching, Duplex Verification and Multiple Field Reading.
Videk MatchVision™
MatchVision is a 2-Camera reading system designed to track every mailpiece as it moves through an inserter. A unique code is read on the first personalized component of each mailpiece. MatchVision subsequently matches that result to the code that it reads from the second personalized component of each mailpiece. Any mismatch of data between the two personalized components' codes or any unreadable/missing code is detected by MatchVision as an error condition. That error condition can trigger the inserter to stop, a light to flash indicating a faulty piece or a divert gate to activate to remove the faulty piece from the production stream. MatchVision is also capable of "trending", thereby allowing the user to select how many match-read errors must occur before a secondary alarm signal is sent from the system.
Print Verification Stand™ (PVS) for Check & Statement Inspection
The Videk PVS is a verification system specifically designed to read variable data fields on checks, financial statements, or any continuous form when the verification of printed data is critical. Its Fail-Safe Triggering? method guarantees that every piece is examined for accuracy in printing without reducing production rates-providing an independent audit file of all critical printed information. The portable Videk Print Verification Stand means easy setup and added flexibility
Integra Data Collection Software works in conjunction with Videk's vision systems by recording the information read from each document by the vision system and logging it to a local datafile or directly to a database. That independent data is then subsequently reconciled with the data stream that was sent to the printer. The following data outputs are available: ASCII file, Excel file, or a direct ODBC database link. The data can then be processed by a separate program for data reconciliation and analysis. This analysis provides for complete document quality assurance as well as a detailed audit trail.
