Founded in 1979, GBR is a subsidiary of Mathias Bauerle (MB) GmbH of St. Georgen/Germany, the pioneer and acknowledged leader of computer-controlled folding systems. GBR's Smart Feeder/Folders, the premier feeder folder of the mail industry, assembles, accumulates and folds personalized mail. At a speed of up to 30,000 documents per hour, the 420T and 438 have an advanced touch screen, which allows for operator programmable BCR multiple job set-up and recall.
GBR's FPF 35 Smart Feeder/Collector is designed to intelligently accumulate flat packs for mail production. The FPF 35 reads and collates up to 35, 20 lb. flat sheets at throughputs of up to 40,000 sheets per hour, depending on set size and inserter cycle speed. The system has an advanced touch screen for operator programmable line code and barcode job set-up and recall.
GBR's plain paper, cold-glue self-mailer system, Mathias Bauerle computer-controlled CAS folder with hhs glue system provides an economical and versatile means of creating a one-piece self-mailer. The CAS 52 folder has the distinct advantage of automatic fold plate set-up and 60-fold job memory, ideal for quick fold job changeovers. The glue system can be turned off and the folder can be used for conventional fold jobs for your diverse application needs.
GBR's PS800 pressure sealer is the fastest pressure seal self-mailer system on the market, processing up to 40,000 documents per hour and runs on-line with Océ printers. The PS800 is modular in design with a Mathias Bäuerle CAS computer-controlled folding system, which enables it to run as a pressure seal unit or as a conventional folder. The CAS folder component also offers the advantages of automatic fold plate set-up and 60-fold job memory, ideal for quick changeovers for pressure seal jobs and for standard fold jobs. The PS800 is available with a wide variety of folder configurations depending upon your volume requirements.
GBR's Mathias Bauerle computer-controlled CAS folders reduce set-up times by more than 50%, while providing easier operation and higher productivity than virtually any other folder on the market. At the touch of a button, the operator can switch from one fold type to another in less than a minute and are available in nine different models.
GBR's Mathias Bauerle CAS POD, Print on Demand (DAT 24, DAT 14, SRT) on-line folder designed to connect to Océ printers. Fold settings are calculated and executed automatically by means of dedicated software. The most important standard folds are programmed; all other folds are freely programmable. Repeat folding jobs can be saved in memory, up to 60 fold types, and retrieved automatically when needed. The CAS 52 POD offers simple handling, short set-up and idle times, and minimal waste.
GBR's Mathias Bauerle CAS 52 TI90 - Turning Station Folder for Océ printers is an on-line folder designed to connect directly to single sheet printers and turn sheets 90 degrees during transport to change the direction without use of a roller table. The TI90 portion of the system processes sheet sizes from 11" X 8 ½" (and A4) to 18 ¼" X 12 ½" either directly into the folder or turned 90 degrees. This system, when coupled with a pressure sealer, provides secure - unseen by human eyes - processing of highly sensitive documents. In other applications, it provides the quickest and most efficient completion of folded documents in a one-pass process.
GBR's Tecnau Continuous Forms Cutters are the latest in cutter technology, multi-programmable (99 jobs) and highly versatile. They can run off-line or on-line. The Tecnau cutter 1050NF, which operates at a high-speed of up to 26,000 8 1/2" x 11" documents per hour, precisely single or double cuts for a variety of applications.
