Digital Image Optimization
Océ Image Logic is the most efficient system available for digitally enhancing hard-copy originals and producing very high quality copies and scans. Key to its efficiency is that it works automatically inside Océ equipment with little, if any intervention by the user.
Imagine a single page with a photo, drawing, plain text, reversed text and shaded areas. Most copiers attempt to scan all these features and calculate an average setting with which to print the entire page. Océ digital equipment featuring Image Logic can actually evaluate each feature, calculate optimal print settings for each feature and print each feature based on those unique settings. Often, the copies are better than the originals, particularly if those originals are damaged, mutilated or soiled from age.
Once an image is scanned, Image Logic automatically processes every pixel on each page. This patented process automatically determines if a pixel is part of a photo, text, or a combination of both and then optimizes the reproduction of that pixel.
