- Innovative toner technology
Optimized toner technology with oil-free V-Toner combines the best of two toner technologies: the wide color gamut of pulverized toner and the matte finish of polymerized toner for a smooth, flat finish on any media.

Produces an optimal finish on any media - high gloss on coated media, matte finish on plain/low-gloss media

Sets color densities without operator intervention, automatically making necessary adjustments
- Advanced media handling
Delivers quality and reliability thanks to three factors. Active registration ensures razor-sharp registration accuracy front to back and side to side. Air-assisted vacuum feed with automatic ultra-sonic double-sheet detection reduces friction and keeps media flowing to the machine, with separate misfeed output to prevent jams. An Advanced Image Transfer Belt combines elastic compound belt with automatic page-by-page Image Control Technologies to disperse toner evenly.

The Canon imagePRESS color series is designed for seamless integration into industry-standard workflows, so the press can be placed in virtually any environment and will be up and running almost immediately. Integrate it with Océ PRISMA® workflow software to automate manual tasks and streamline operations with web-to-print service, automated document design, composition, prepress capability and job/output management.
- Support for a wide range of media and capacities
The system supports media weights from 64 to 300 gsm, sizes from 5.5 x 7.2 to 13 x 19.2 inches. Two vacuum-feed paper input modules with up to eight trays supply up to 10,000 sheets of any supported stock and run complex jobs without intervention. Two high-capacity stackers hold up to 10,000 sheets for virtually unlimited output capacity.
