System Manager (SM) - Effectively managing the production of documents across a variety of output devices (printers, pre and post-processors and insertion equipment) in a cost-effective manner and in a way that those same documents can later be retrieved is a key component of the automated document factory.

The System Manager module allows operators to view documents and jobs as they move through standard and custom-defined production checkpoints. The System Manager displays the progress in percent-complete and estimated completion-times per checkpoint or total. This centralized control and management of the entire print/finish/mail operation provides the basis for better planning and scheduling of day-to-day operations-which leads to higher productivity and faster return on investment.

Device Manager (DM) - Fact: You need data to base decisions on. Detecting technical weaknesses and flaws in the organization of the production process requires the collection of data related to the capacity utilization, the distribution of the workload and the status of devices that support your production. Once the data is collected and analyzed, initiating targeted measures to correct the weakness can be implemented.

The task of the Océ Device Manager (DM) is to log machine (device) data. Data includes information about the operating status, messages, warnings, and device settings. This data is recorded constantly and tagged with a time-stamp for future analysis. All reports can be exported as files or graphics to other applications supporting ODBC databases like Excel.

Benefits of the Device Manager are that it collects and reports actual production data to base decisions on, which in turn increase equipment utilization through capacity and error statistics, early warning mechanisms through detailed reports, device messages and alerts.

Reprint Manager (RM)- The Reprint Manager (RM) module of Océ PRISMAaudit identifies and processes missing or damaged mail pieces. The Reprint Manager uses SQL database queries to compare expected results (request files) against delivered results (audit files) and then automatically, or via operator intervention, generates reprint requests for specific subsets of mail pieces defined by flexible filter and search criteria.

Benefits of the Reprint Manager are that it offers monitoring of mail pieces, maintenance of a document audit trail and ensures that the results expected are the results achieved.

Verification Manager (VM)- Secure printing and personalized mail houses are being challenged by their customers to provide an integrated solution that achieves the highest level of image verification and 100 percent integrity on every document. Applications where the document value is high, or where liability of illegible or inaccurate data could prove costly are a perfect fit for Océ Verification Manager.

The Océ Verification Manager(VM) provides real-time variable image and form inspection of optical readings such as logos, edge-defined objects, incrementing of check numbers, and 1D/2D barcode-matched personalized documents. Benefits of the Verification Manager are increased document integrity, ensured data verification, maintenance of a document audit trail, an increase in production efficiency and reduced document liability, reprints, waste and print charges. One of the most outstanding advantages of the Verification Manager document tracking solution is its inherent modularity, with solutions available in four basic modules.
  • The Print Verification System - a camera-based monitoring, verification, and control system that provides real-time OCR data, variable image?such a pre-printed logos on paper stocks, and form inspection of optical readings
  • The ScanVision System - an integrated laser scanner bar code verification system that combines special hardware and software to capture data.
  • The InserterVision System - a camera or laser-scanner integrity tool that employs a single camera or laser mounted on an insertion device to ensure post-processing accuracy.
