- Non-contact flash fusing and a short, straight paper path
Non-contact flash fusing technology bonds toner and media without heat transfer or pressure so you can print on special and heat-sensitive paper. This puts less strain on the paper and keeps it in perfect condition for finishing. The short, straight paper path has no rollers or moving parts to deflect paper from a straight in-and-out route, enabling printing on adhesive labels, thin plastic cards, foils, textures and light or heavy stock.
- 17-inch print width
A 17-inch print width enables printing up to 159 letter-size images per minute, two-up and ledger-size output to deliver outstanding productivity for black & white simplex printing.
- 600 dpi resolution
With its LED image generator, the quiet and compact system delivers output with the 600 dpi resolution required for professional-quality graphics and barcodes and the tough legibility standards of security applications.
- Automatic resolution detection
Automatic resolution detection enables you to combine 240 dpi text, 300 dpi logos and 600 dpi illustrations in the same print job and even on the same page with no need for manual adjustment or conversion of resources.
- SRA4 controller
The system uses the latest SRA4 controller, which is compatible across the entire Océ VarioStream family and enables applications to be shifted between printers. The Océ VarioStream 7100 system can be run as a proofing or backup system.
- Automatic paper loading
