Océ's First Annual "Green Reprographer of the Year" Award Application Submission Guidelines
The Océ "Green Reprographer of the Year" award recognizes outstanding achievement in incorporating green business practices in your shop. By making efforts to utilize fewer resources as well as minimizing the environmental impact of your company's operations, Océ would like to recognize you for your contribution toward a more sustainable environment.

Criteria
The judging of the entry materials will be based on the following factors:
- Products used in your business that reduce their impact on the environment
- Services provided to your customers to benefit the environment
- Facility changes or improvements reducing the impact on the environment, and/or
- Employee programs supporting environmental conservation
Who Can Enter
Any reprographer 1) who is engaged in a pay-for-print printing business located in the one of the fifty states of the United States and 2) whose total business is comprised of 51% or greater wide format printing. Wide format printing is defined as printing that utilizes media that is a minimum of 24 inches in width. A reprographic printing business may include technical document printing or display graphics applications, i.e. signs shops, screen printers, and photo labs. Applicants must be 21 years or older as of March 5, 2008. Limit one entry per company.
Who determines the winner
Entry materials will be judged based on the following factors: Product, Services, Facility and Employee Programs. All entry materials will be evaluated by a panel of judges consisting of industry experts, including the Editor of Wide Format Imaging magazine, the editor of Building Design and Construction magazine and a writer on green issues for Repro Report magazine.
Recognition of the Award
The winner will receive:
- A recognition plaque
- National recognition through an Océ press release
- Potential write-up in a national trade publication
- An application profile describing the company's sustainable business practices
- Award graphic for use on company collateral/advertisements/etc.
Submission Deadline
All entry materials must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Central Time on April 14, 2008, per the email submission instructions on the application form. To download a PDF of the application form, click here.
Award Announcement
Océ will announce the winner via a press release on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. (Central Time). Océ will also post the winner on www.oceusa.com.
